    WOLF EYES (Michigan, Detroit)
Third Man Records, Sub Pop, Hanson Records

First time they have been back to Leeds since 2006!!

The infamous blistering noise of Wolf Eyes propelled them from being a dank Ann Arbour, Michigan basement sensation to the finest ranks of Sub Pop without ever losing a shred of credibility. From touring with Sonic Youth and Andrew W.K., Wolf Eyes have crossed borders into popularity which few other such confrontational units of their ilk have been able to and kept straight and narrow on their blazing path. They has released recordings, on Sub Pop and Jack White’s Third Man Records.

    RIAN TREANOR (Death of Rave)

Rian Treanor is an artist and producer based in the North of the UK. His sound practice re-imagines the intersection of club culture, experimental art and computer music, presenting an insightful and compelling musical world of interlocking and fractured components. Drawing upon his study with Lupo at Berlin's Dubplates & Mastering, plus years spent curating the Enjoy artspace in Leeds, Treanor's sound uses off centred rhythmic arrangements, referencing the dynamics of garage and techno as much as Fluxus and Dada cut-ups.

After leaving a vivid impression in 2015 with his debut 12" A Rational Tangle, he delivered a scintillating 2nd EP Pattern Damage on The Death of Rave in 2016, landing with a resounding 10/10 and album of the month in Mixmag and Boomkat on release. Since then Treanor has been performing his grid melting live sets at venues including Cafe Oto (UK), CCA (UK), Empty Gallery (HK), Summerhall (UK), OHM (DE), as well as taking part in artists residencies at yU+co[lab] in HongKong & with Counterflows in India 2016.
