You may have noticed that some users have a small picture under their user name when they post (if you look to the left of this post, you'll see our current picture). In forum lingo this is called an 'avatar'. We encourage all users to upload an avatar to their profile - it brightens the place up and also helps you stand out from the crowd!

Here are some quick instructions on how to upload an avatar to your account:

    1. Make sure you're logged in to Leeds Forum.

    2. There are plenty of sites that provide free avatars at the size we need, which is 80x80 pixels. Try browsing sites like http://www.avatarswizard.com/animals/ and browse their categories. When you see a good avatar, click it and then select 80x80 from the resize option before downloading it your PC.

    3. Come back here and visit http://www.leedsforum.co.uk/profile.php?do=editavatar where you can upload your avatar in a matter of clicks.

Good luck and post here if you need any help. Remember that the site we provided above for free avatars was just one we found from a quick search. If you search Google for 'free avatars' and make sure you always pick 80x80 pixels then you should be fine to upload them here :)
